Marathon Pilot’s Navigator: The original design was created in 1986 at the request of the Kelly Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, whose pilots needed of a time-piece capable enduring extreme changes in air pressure while operating at high altitude.

On the dial of the Navigator and Officer's Watch, Marathon have emblazoned a three-dimensional, reflective, silver alloy appliqué of the official United States Air Force insignia.
On the inside, the ETA FØ6 movement was carefully selected for its accuracy (-0.3/+0.5 seconds per day) and its End-of-Life (EOL) indicator, which alerts pilots when a battery change is required.

These exclusive pieces are crafted with a highly durable, impact-resistant fibreshell case that is water resistant to 3ATM (30 meters/100 feet), sweat resistant, and will not yield to the elements.
Engraved on the caseback is the official USAF insignia and initial run serial number.
Marathon Officer's Watch with Date: Built for military personnel in the field, this original design was used during military operations throughout the 1980s.
